Description:

Join us for the 2025 CHYK/ CSK East Coast retreat on the topic of 'The Art of Self Love'. This retreat will be based on key verses of the Bhagavad Gita and will explore four facets:

 

      • Art of loving one’s own self - cultivating a sense of purpose and acceptance
      • Art of loving others - sustaining meaningful relationships with others and growing together
      • Art of loving God - immersing in devotional love for a higher altar
      • Art of the Self as Love - recognizing our true nature as Love and thereby seeing oneness in all beings.

We are very fortunate to have Brni. Shubhani Chaitanya, resident brahmacharini of Chinmaya Mission New York, guiding us through the retreat and leading the discourses.

In addition to the discourses, we will have yoga, meditation, workshops, games, and a bonfire! Join us in creating new friendships and strengthening existing relationships with like-minded individuals!

Additional Information:

    • This is a residential retreat from Friday, April 18, 2025 to Sunday April 20th, 2025 (Easter Weekend). Exact start and end times will be shared in a few weeks.
    • Shanti Mandir is located in Walden, NY. It takes about 80 minutes to drive from Manhattan. Also, the ashram has a van which can ferry people from the Beacon stop on the Hudson line. The retreat team will be helping organize transportation!
    • The retreat fee covers all accommodations (lodging, food, etc.)!

  •  Early bird cost: $185, early bird discount ends on Monday, February 17th, 2025, after which the regular price will be $200.
